We are currently hiring for Health Care Assistants in and around Taunton and are looking for HCA who are open to travelling to Taunton and Exeter
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant/Support Worker to join our compassionate team. As a key member of our healthcare team, your role will involve providing essential support to patients and assisting in their daily activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Supporting patients with mobility and physical activities.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs under the direction of nursing staff.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Helping to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care.
Qualifications:
- CPI Safety Intervention or PMVA
- NVQ 2/3 Health&Social Care/Care Qualification
- Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker preferred but not essential.
- Compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
